Dial feet

Small pins projecting from the back of a dial that locate and secure it to the movement.

Explanation

Dial feet are soldered or pressed into the dial and pass through holes in the movement's pillar plate, where they are held by dial-foot screws or a spring clip. Bent, missing or re-positioned feet are a common sign of a re-dialled or married watch.
