Re-dialled

A dial that has been refinished, repainted or reprinted rather than conserved.

Explanation

Refinishing destroys original enamel or printing and usually reduces the record value of a watch even when it improves its appearance. Tell-tales include soft or modern lettering, filled hairlines, incorrect fonts and paint standing over the seconds-track edges.
