Case and Design
The Chaplin I Tripod Grandfather Clock features a structural design based on a three-legged tripod base. The primary wooden elements, including the tripod legs, are crafted from select hardwoods and veneers, finished in a dark Black Coffee tone. This wooden structure is complemented by metal hardware, including support plates and feet, which are finished in polished chrome.
The upper section of the clock consists of a large, circular bezel finished in polished chrome. This bezel surrounds a stationary white dial, which features black Roman numeral hour markers and black hour and minute hands. The pendulum is located centrally within the tripod legs, suspended from a support beam that matches the Black Coffee finish of the tripod structure.
