Staking set

A boxed set of interchangeable stakes and punches used with a small anvil to fit and remove parts under controlled pressure.

Explanation

Used chiefly for pressing hands, wheels, and jewels on and off arbors and for closing jewel settings, a staking set is one of the core investments of a watchmaker's bench alongside the lathe and movement holders.
