Pin vice
A small hand-held vice, usually with interchangeable collets, for gripping fine parts such as pivots and screws.
Explanation
A pin vice is a small hand-held chuck with interchangeable collets for gripping fine parts — wires, stems, small drills. It is one of the most-used tools on the bench, for holding parts while filing, broaching or polishing. Sliding and screw-tightened patterns both exist.
