Replacement-module provenance

Documentation of the identity and history of an electronic movement installed in a watch.

Explanation

Record whether a module is original, a documented service replacement, a reproduction or unexamined. Separate this from the condition and authorship of the case, dial and bracelet. The Smithsonian Astron provides the opposite configuration to a replacement movement: its module is described as original, while the case and band are reproductions. Preserve those exact component-level statements rather than label the entire watch original or replica. Unknown service history remains unknown.
