Albert chain
A watch chain worn across the waistcoat with a T-bar through a buttonhole.
Explanation
The Albert chain is the watch chain worn across a waistcoat, named after Prince Albert. A single Albert has one T-bar and clip; a double Albert has a second drop for a fob, seal or key. Chains were made in gold, silver, rolled gold and steel, and period chains with their fobs are collected in their own right.
