Visual Form and Dial Architecture
The object presents as an unmounted stainless steel chronograph watch head. It features bare lugs without a strap, spring bars, or buckle. The case is fitted with a glass crystal and a rotating outer bezel calibrated with a 12-hour scale converging on a triangular index at the zero mark. Operating controls arranged along the right case flank consist of two pushers flanking a serrated winding crown.
The black dial displays luminescent Arabic numeral hour indices and a three-register chronograph layout. A framed date aperture is placed between the 4 and 5 o'clock positions. The dial is printed with 'TYPE 21' and 'DODANE', accompanied by 'MADE IN FRANCE' situated along the lower margin beneath the subsidiary counter at 6 o'clock.
