Tipsy key
A winding key with a square that only engages when correctly oriented, protecting the movement.
Explanation
A collar or spring on the tipsy key's shank prevents it from being forced onto the winding square unless properly aligned, reducing the risk of a key-wound watch's winding square or stem being damaged by careless winding.
