Jewelling tool

A tool for pressing jewels into plates and settings to a measured depth.

Explanation

A jewelling tool pushes a friction-fit jewel to a set depth so endshake is correct. Because depth governs endshake and oil retention, jewel fitting is bench work requiring measurement rather than feel.
