Fusee stopwork

A stopwork variant fitted to the fusee, preventing overwinding at the end of the chain travel.

Explanation

Because a fusee is wound by pulling the chain fully onto the fusee cone, a stopwork device — commonly a shouldered stop lever — halts winding once the chain is fully wound, protecting the chain and mainspring from strain.
