Edward Banger

Edward Banger was an apprentice, and later a formal business partner, of Thomas Tompion in London, with movements from the partnership period signed jointly 'Tompion & Banger.' Banger married into the Tompion family circle, strengthening the personal as well as professional connection between the two, and the partnership period represents a documented phase of Tompion's celebrated workshop rather than an independent Banger enterprise.
