The Voutilainen Vingt-8 is a white gold wristwatch presented as a unique piece (Pièce Unique) from the independent workshop of Kari Voutilainen. The watch features a white dial with three distinct guilloché-decorated sections, arranged in an Observatoire-style configuration. Applied Roman numerals are in white gold, with the exception of the numeral IV, which is executed in pink gold. The time is indicated by signature hands with thermally blued rings, accompanied by a small seconds sub-dial. The timepiece is powered by the in-house Calibre 28, which was the first movement produced entirely by the workshop. This movement incorporates a proprietary direct double-impulse escapement. The case is constructed from white gold and features traditional teardrop-shaped lugs and a transparent case back for movement viewing. The watch is worn on a brown alligator leather strap and is described as a transitional example linking early aesthetics with the Calibre 28 movement.
