Case and Dial Construction
The Romain Jerome Moon Dust DNA features a 46 mm three-body case designed with a blend of PVD-coated stainless steel and titanium. The construction is specified to incorporate physical fragments associated with the Apollo XI spacecraft. The bezel is composed of PVD-coated steel and carbon, paired with straight curved lugs and a sapphire crystal. The case back is secured by 10 screws, and the crown is a screw-down type finished with a rubber ring.
The dial surface presents a grey textured finish composed of mineral deposits, which the auction description reports to include material from the moon. It features skeletonized baton hands finished in PVD-coated stainless steel, with a subsidiary seconds indicator positioned at the 9 o'clock hour mark.
