Case and Dial Design
The timepiece features a stainless steel case fitted with a steel bezel engraved with a tachymeter scale. This configuration, which moves the scale from the internal dial to the outer bezel, was a hallmark of the reference 6239 design introduced in 1963.
The dial is black with three silver-toned, grooved sub-dials. A key design element is the red-printed 'DAYTONA' text situated above the sub-dial at the six o'clock position, identifying this as a 'Cherry' dial variant. The dial features applied baton markers, metal hands, and tritium-based luminous material.
