VerifiedThe dial plate of the gold case is engraved with the scene of a young woman seated in front of a well, her quiver hanging from the branch of a willow tree. The hours and minutes are indicated by a circular aperture indicating the hours, moving across an enamel scale divided into sixty minutes. A new numeral appears on the left at the beginning of each hour.

Historical significance
- The dial plate of the gold case is engraved with the scene of a young woman seated in front of a well, her quiver hanging from the branch of a willow tree. The hours and minutes are indicated by a circular aperture indicating the hours, moving across an enamel scale divided into sixty minutes. A new numeral appears on the left at the beginning of each hour.
- The gilded brass movement has a cylinder escapement and hour and quarter repeating work visible on the backplate.
- A similar watch, fitted with a verge escapement and signed by Perrin Brothers of Neuchâtel, is in the Beyer Watch Museum, Zurich.
