The hunter case, with two faceted bezels, is decorated on the back and cover with two grey monochrome medallions. These are enamelled using a photographic process and depict two landscapes near the town of Le Locle: the Doubs waterfall and the Roches pass. A Neuchâtel farm and a house with grounds are reproduced with the same technique inside the case.

Historical significance

  • The hunter case, with two faceted bezels, is decorated on the back and cover with two grey monochrome medallions. These are enamelled using a photographic process and depict two landscapes near the town of Le Locle: the Doubs waterfall and the Roches pass. A Neuchâtel farm and a house with grounds are reproduced with the same technique inside the case.
  • The main dial, in white enamel, has a small eccentric seconds dial near the bottom. On the back, the annular enamelled date dial is divided into the days of the week and the months.
  • The high quality movement has a lever escapement, a bimetallic balance, and a blued steel balance spring with a Breguet overcoil. The winding wheels have “wolf’s teeth”.
