Historical significance
- The case-back features an engraved mille-feuilles decoration, set off with blue and white champlevé enamel.
- The silver dial, which was made later than the movement, has painted Arabic numerals for the hours. The Breguet hands are gold.
- The “Bagnolet” movement has a very particular design: as the train turns in the opposite direction to that of a traditional watch, the dial has been placed directly on the bridges. The visible side of the plate, covered with engraved scrolls, takes the place of the dome.
