Historical significance
Seiko's 6139 is an automatic chronograph with a 30-minute recorder and day-date calendar, part of the pioneering 1969 automatic-chronograph generation. Seiko's repair manual distinguishes it from the related 6138, which also has a 12-hour recorder. The familiar Pogue belongs to the 6139 family; the Bullhead should not be assigned to this calibre merely because both are vintage Seiko chronographs.
