Unidirectional rotating bezel

A dive-watch bezel that rotates in one direction only, so accidental knocks shorten rather than lengthen an indicated elapsed dive time.

Explanation

A safety feature standardised in dive-watch specifications from the 1950s–60s onward, typically clicking in fixed increments against a spring-loaded detent.
