Glashütte Original Senator Chronometer Only Watch 2011

This unique 18K red gold wristwatch, identified as serial number 1/1, was produced by Glashütte Original specifically for the Only Watch 2011 auction. The Senator Chronometer model features a matte black and silver dial equipped with radial Roman numerals, a power-reserve indicator, a guilloche subsidiary seconds dial, and a panorama date display. The timepiece includes a day/night indicator and a stop-seconds feature with a minute detent mechanism. It is powered by the rhodium-plated Caliber 58-01, which features a straight-line lever escapement and a swan-neck regulator. The watch is housed in a three-body, polished 18K red gold case with concave lugs and a black cabochon-set crown, protected by sapphire crystals. The set is accompanied by a unique wooden case styled after historical marine chronometer housings and an official certificate. The movement is certified as a chronometer following rigorous German testing standards.
