History
Frédéric Boucheron established his jewelry business in 1858, opening his first store in the Galerie de Valois at the Palais-Royal.
The company became the first jeweler to move to 26 Place Vendôme in 1893, where it remains today. After the founder passed away in 1902, the business was managed by his descendants, including his son Louis and later grandsons Fred and Gérard. The brand transitioned from a family-run company when it was sold to Schweizerhall in 1994.
Following an acquisition by the Gucci Group in 2000, the company is currently owned by the Kering group.
